This entails working with organizations to focus on the most efficient and effective way to manage and to focus on their mandate and priorities.

  • Strategic Planning - working with managers and directors to establish their strategy for the next 3 to 5 years. Develop a strategic plan for implementation by management and staff.
  • Operational Planning - exactly how will the strategy be implemented to achieve the goals of the organization? Identification of timelines, resources required and allocate responsibility for the completion of tasks. Establish evaluation and review methodologies.
  • Organizational Structure - review the structure of the board, management and staffing to maximize efficiency and appropriate delivery of services to the agency's clients. Undertake "process re- engineering" where necessary.
  • Policy and Procedure review and development - assess the documentation and its implementation and assist in developing "good practice" and accountability. Develop operational / personnel / Board manuals to assist in the governance of the organization.

Previous experience includes: strategic planning with non-profit organizations; development of non- profit board manuals and policies; senior management experience in English National Health Service - managing change and departments; nineteen years operational management experience in health organizations.
