- BC Forensic Psychiatric Services (an agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority):
working with their team to a successful Accreditation in 2011.
- The redesign of community health programs (home support) in Interior Health, Northern
Heath and Fraser Health.
- The redesign of community health programs (home support) in Interior Health, Northern
Heath and Fraser Health.
- Numerous health care projects (mostly within home and community care and mental
health) with Interior Health and Northern Health.
- Managing First Nations and not for profit organizations' projects within the Southern
Interior of BC.
West Midlands, England
- Commissioning new hospitals and health care facilities, including a 100 bed forensic
psychiatric hospital and a 160 bed psychiatric hospital in Birmingham, England.
- Project managed the closure of health care facilities to align these with newer facilities.
- Implementation of new business systems, including information technology systems.

Strategic and Operation Planning
This entails working with organizations to focus on the most efficient and effective way to manage
and to focus on their mandate and priorities.
Strategic Planning - working with managers and directors to establish their strategy for the next 3
to 5 years. Develop a strategic plan for implementation by management and staff.
Operational Planning - exactly how will the strategy be implemented to achieve the goals of
the organization? Identification of timelines, resources required and assign responsibility and
accountability for the completion of tasks. Establish evaluation and review methodologies.
Organizational Structure - review the structure of the board, management and staffing to
maximize efficiency and appropriate delivery of services to the agency's clients.
Policy and Procedure review and development - assess the documentation and its
implementation and assist in developing "best practice" and accountability. Develop operational /
personnel / Board manuals to assist in the governance of the organization.
Previous experience includes: strategic planning with non-profit organizations; development
of non- profit board manuals and policies; senior management experience in English National
Health Service - managing change and departments; nineteen years operational management
experience in health organizations.
